About me
Hi, my name is Karina,
I’ve been cooking since I was six, starting with pelmeni, katleti, and pancakes—simple, real food passed down from my Siberian grandmother. Her recipes, rich in wisdom, shaped my early life, turning cooking from a daily chore into a true passion.
Now a mother of three, my kitchen reflects the same values I grew up with: warm, healthy, homemade meals made with local ingredients. I love creating nourishing dishes and especially enjoy baking. Sourdough is my greatest love—from Latvian black bread to baguettes and cookies. It teaches patience, creativity, and respect for ingredients, a philosophy I apply to all my cooking.
I believe nutrition is key to a healthier, happier life. My classes embody this belief, offering practical, warm lessons based on years of experience cooking for my family. Good food doesn’t require complicated methods or fancy tools—just the right guidance.
In my classes, whether making pelmeni as my grandmother taught me or baking celebratory breads and pastries, my goal is to show how enjoyable and rewarding cooking can be. I teach in Latvian, Russian, and English, sharing not just recipes but also small secrets, intuition, and a deep love for food.
Join me, and you’ll learn everyday skills—and the joy of creating something beautiful with your hands.
